A 20-something years old who loves to write the old-fashioned way.

Dear Friends,

I'm so, so, so happy you're here.

My name is Aislin. I was born and raised in Indonesia, and moved to the UK at the age of 17. I completed my A-Levels (Mathematics, Chemistry and Psychology) in Norwich, then went on to study Psychology at UCL in London.

Ever since moving to the UK, I’ve fallen in love with letter writing. It started as a small gesture to stay connected with loved ones while I was abroad. Over time, I realised that writing letters could also be a powerful form of journalling. Writing in the second person, to someone else, even if imaginary, helped me open up and reflect more deeply.

So here I am, seven years later, still writing and now sharing these letters with you.

I'm currently based in Niseko, Japan, but who knows? I might pop up from different parts of the world from time to time :)

If you're interested in stories about travelling, living abroad or simply navigating life in your twenties, then sit back, relax and enjoy the read.

Lots of love,

Aislin
